Established in the year 2009, JIS Institute of Aviation is a brand new college added by JIS Groups' Educational Initiatives. The Institute is located at the campus of Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree engineering college & Sports Complex, DumDum.
Aerospace Engineering is one of the most challenging fields of engineering with a wide scope for growth. This field deals with the development of new technology in the field of aviation, space exploration and defence systems. It specializes in the designing, construction, development, testing, operation and maintenance of both commercial and military aircraft, spacecrafts and their components as well as satellites and missiles.
Course Offered
We are proudly announcing 4 years full time B.Tech. degree in Aerospace Engineering (120 seats) beginning from the session 2009-10.
Eligibility:
10+2 passed with at least 55% marks (General Category) and 50% marks (SC/ST/OBC) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics from a recognized Board / University in India.
