Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences & Hospital is (KCDSH ) affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Karnataka. The College, ever since its inception has been committed to excellence in education, research, patient care and community service. The college is located in a region of stunning scenery with hills, tall trees, blossoming flowers and beautiful skyline. It is situated 21 Km away from the buzzing city, in a quiet and serene campus of sprawling 133 acres called Krishnadevarayanagar. Out of the 133 acres, 10 acres have been specially earmarked for the development of the Dental College.
Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences (KCDSH ) is also equipped with an advanced OT with 25 bedded facilities with ultramodern sophisticated facilities.
In addition to various dental departments the KCDS & H is also housing the general medical subject facilities like General Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry, General Pathology & Microbiology. General Pharmacology, General Medicine and General Surgery Experienced and highly qualified medical teaching faculties are serving the above disciplines to train the students in the basic medical sciences, which are very essential for the dental practice.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME
Allotment to the college is through the Common Entrance Test (CET) and Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental - Karnataka (Comed-K) held in the month of Jan - Feb for Post Graduate and April - May for Under Graduate every year in Karnataka. Candidates appearing for the CET / Comed-K must have completed their Pre-University course (10+2) or equivalent.
BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY (BDS)
1Minimum qualification PUC 2nd year/12th Std/Equivalent Examination with English one of the languages mandatory
2 Declared as qualified in NEET based on NEET Score and Neet Percentile
3 Minimum of 50% as aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology *(40% for SC/ST/OBC category candidates & 45% for Physically disabled candidates)
4 The SC/ST/OBC category candidates eligibility criteria is applicable for Karnataka origin candidates only
MASTER OF DENTAL SURGERY (MDS)
1 BDS DEGREE from affiliated to any university established by Law of India recognised by Dental Council of India and Government of India
2 Declared as qualified in NEET based on NEET Score prescribed as minimum score in NEET -PG/NEET MDS
3 The candidate must have completed 'Compulsory Rotating Internship' or completing on or before 31st March of the year he/she is taking admission
4 The SC/ST/OBC category candidates eligibility criteria is applicable for Karnataka origin candidates only
5 Age limit for in-service candidate is 48, No age limit for non-service candidate
6 Candidates with Dental Degree outside India, should have qualified in Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) - Screening Test conducted by Nation Board of Education/DCI
