The Vydehi Institute of Nursing Sciences and Research Center is greatly privileged to have a large hospital of 1608 bed capacity, situated in the main campus, close to the medical collegeand the hospital. The nursing college is approved by the Government of Karnataka and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science. The nursing program has received accreditation from the Indian nursing council.

B.Sc. Nursing Students must have passed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Botany & Zoology with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for General (40% for SC/ST) category as prescribed by MCI/DCI. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit of the NEET
Candidate must be 17 years of age
Candidates must have obtained a minimum of not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together in the qualifying examination. With respect to candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes or other backward classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together in the qualifying examination should not be less than 40% instead of 50% as mentioned above.
Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to Basic B Sc Nursing program candidates should have qualified 12th standard obtained by association of Indian University/ Institution/ Council or equivalent that has been prescribed by Indian Nursing Council

Admission Procedure:

.Admission is open to all candidates from all parts of India and abroad, provided they meet the basic requirements for admission. Candidates and admitted once a year, August/September (UG), and May/October (PG).
The selection committee will scrutinize each application.
Performance in the Pre-University/Degree examination will form the basis for preliminary selection, according to the course.
The applicant shall appear before a committee for interview and selection, for admission into the college.
Students selected for admission should remit the tuition fees and other prescribed fees along with the application form, at the time of admission.
A student once admitted to a particular course will not be allowed to change the course.
The applicant should produce the originals of all the certificates at the time of the interview.
Students coming from other states and universities should produce migration and eligibility certificates at the time of admission.
Foreign students, in addition to the certificates mentioned above, should also produce No Objection Certificates on their own.
Management reserves the rights of admissions and to reject any application without assigning any reason.
No selected candidates will be admitted unless he/she is physically fit to receive training.
