    Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, commonly known as FMS Delhi, is ranked 9 amongst all the Business Schools in India by The Business Today 2023. It was established in the year 1954 on the campus of the Delhi School of Economics. It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). FMS New Delhi offers a two-year full-time MBA course. Apart from this, FMS Delhi also offers MBA Executive and MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) courses at the PG level. It is affiliated with the University of Delhi and is the founding member of the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA). It also works towards various regional cooperation initiatives in the field of management.     A. FMS Delhi registration 2023 usually begins in January every year. As of now, the applications for FMS Delhi MBA 2023-25 batch are yet to be released. FMS admission to MBA, MBA Executive and MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) courses are based on CAT scores. The final selection is based on CAT scores, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI). Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the institute to apply online.
    Q. What all facilities do FMS Delhi offer to its students?
    A. There are several facilities available for the students in FMS Delhi such as a research centre, gym, computer centre, hospital, cafeteria, labs, auditorium and other medical facilities. With very less course fees, FMS Delhi doesn't offer its own hostel accommodation but there are PGs and hostels available nearby. In the most recent FMS Delhi placements drive, the average package offered to the students stood at INR 32.4 LPA, however, the total fee to pursue MBA is INR 1.92 lakhs. Students belonging to the PwD category shall be exempted from the payment of all fees except for the fee of admission and issuing of the identity card.     A. No, Faculty of Management Studies Delhi only accepts Common Admission Test (CAT) scores for admission to its MBA course. Applicants, who have not taken CAT 2023, will not be considered for admission to FMS Delhi MBA programme. Apart from a valid score in CAT, the college also accepts several parameters such as Class 10 and 12 marks, Discussion on Statement of Purpose, Extempore, Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI). An additional 5 marks will be given to the women students who appear for the interview process. FMS Delhi interview process may be held in online mode.
    Q. I have low marks in Class 12. Can I get admission in FMS Delhi?
    A. Yes, the probability of getting admission to FMS Delhi becomes high when all the rounds of the selection process are cleared with a high percentage. Apart from a valid score in CAT, the college also accepts Class 10 and 12 marks, Discussion on Statement of Purpose (SoP), Extempore, Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI). An additional 5 marks are given to the women students who appear for the interview process. FMS Delhi interview process may be held in online mode.
    Q. Does FMS Delhi accept the GMAT score during admissions?
    A. No, FMS Delhi only considers CAT score for Indian students during admissions. It doesn't accept GMAT, XAT, SNAP or any other entrance exams for admission. To be eligible for FMS Delhi MBA admission 2023, candidates must have passed Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% for the unreserved category. For other categories including SC/ ST/ OBC Non-Creamy/ EWS/ PWD/ CW, candidates must have passed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 45% as per University Rules or an equivalent CGPA.
    Q. What is the salary offered after passing out from FMS Delhi?
    A. This year, FMS Delhi final placement 2023 witnessed the highest salary offer of INR 58 LPA and an average salary offer of INR 32.40 LPA. Out of 269 students, 257 were placed and 12 students opted out/ took a placement holiday during FMS Delhi placements 2023. FMS Delhi has recorded 100% placements for its summer placements drive for the 2023-24 batch. Further, the highest and average stipend offered during FMS Delhi summer placements 2023-24 batch stood at INR 4.4 lakh and INR 3.02 lakh, respectively.

    Faculty of Management Studies University of Delhi (FMS Delhi or The Red Building of Dreams[2]) is a leading business school located in New Delhi, India. It was established in 1954[3] under the umbrella of the University of Delhi and is often cited as one of the best business schools in India.[4][5] The institute was started at the Delhi School of Economics premises under Dean A. Dasgupta of the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE).
    The department of commerce of the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) now, the Delhi Technological University (DTU), was abolished and the Faculty of Management Studies was established.
    The first set of professors were trained at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The institute has since then expanded on the number of management courses available.
    Academics

    FMS offers a full-time MBA, an executive MBA, an executive MBA in health care administration and doctoral programmes.[6] In addition to all these programs, FMS also regularly conducts Management Development Programmes.
    Admissions[edit]
    The admission to the course is done on the basis of score in Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). FMS earlier had its own entrance exam which was discontinued starting session 2012 14.[7] For the Doctoral program, the maximum number of Seats is 20. The candidates are required to appear in the entrance test conducted every year in November December. However, candidates falling under some categories are exempted from appearing in this entrance test.[8] The MBA Executive program has an intake of 159 students, whereas MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) programme has an intake of 39 students.[citation needed] Recently the admission process has been modified for full-time students wherein CAT weightage is 60%, while remaining is kept for past academic records, group discussions, extempore and personal interviews.

    FMS is the only business school which conducts the Management fest (Fiesta) and Cultural & Sports fest (Elysium) separately. For the sports fest, FMS being a part of University of Delhi, has access to the sports facilities of other colleges of Delhi University like Hindu College, University of Delhi, Delhi School of Economics and Shri Ram College of Commerce.
    As a Full Time MBA student at FMS, one gets an opportunity to join the Management Science Association (MSA), a completely student run body, which coordinates all these activities. The various societies that form part of MSA at FMS are:
    Alumni Relations Cell - strengthens the relationship with alumni
    Media Relations Cell - serves as the official mouthpiece of the Management Science Association (MSA). Extensive research for surveys and establishing two-way relationship with various media houses are done by them
    Systems Society (SysSoc) - official IT and Operations Management Society[9])
    Cultural Society (CulSoc) - responsible for managing cultural activities (Intra as well as inter-college)[10]
    Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) - assists students who take up entrepreneurship as a career choice[11]
    Finance Society (FinSoc) - for students that aspire to endorse finance as a career opportunity
    HR & OB Society (HRSoc) - provides students a snapshot of what the corporate world[12] Club activities include a mentorship program, placement preparation, and workshops.
    The Consulting Club (ConClub) is a student-run organization with the agenda of liaising with Global Consults to increase their presence at FMS while working towards preparing the students for a career in management consulting.
    Scholastic Council (FSC) - acts as a bridge between faculty and the student community and is also an official representative of the college for liaison with international universities.
    Sports Society - conducts Intra FMS sports competition

    Apart from these primary clubs, FMS has voluntary associations like Alpha Investment and Research Club which runs a mutual fund by themselves, Strategy Labs puts forward various live projects and business case studies and Oratory Club aims to improve literary and socio-cultural aspects.

    Candidates must have pursued a Bachelor's Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling with at least 50% marks at the graduation level (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45% as per university rules) or equivalent CGPA.
    Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination or are awaiting results can also apply.

    Candidates should have pursued at least a three-year Bachelor's Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling, having secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks or equivalent.
    The candidates should have at least five years of experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial/government establishment/registered organization after passing the Bachelor's degree examination. Experience shall be determined as of 1st April of the year of admission. Candidates should be either sponsored or must produce a "No Objection Certificate" programme from his/her present employer.
    Eligibility for MBA - Executive Health Care Administration
    Candidates must have a Bachelor degree having secured minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent grades in any discipline such as Medicine (MBBS)/ Dentistry (BDS)/ Biotechnology/ Genomics/ Genetics/ Nursing/ Bioengineering/ Alternative Systems/ of Medicine/ Paramedical Discipline/ Pharmacology/ Anthropology/ Zoology or an examination recognised as equivalent.
    The candidate should have at least five years of experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial/Industrial/government establishment/registered organization after acquiring the Bachelor's degree (excluding internship). Experience shall be determined as of the 1st April of the year of admission. Candidates should be either sponsored or must produce a "No Objection Certificate" from his/her present employer.
    Eligibility for Doctoral Programme
    A candidate must have obtained a Master's/M.Phil. degree from the University of Delhi, or any other recognized University, or a Post-graduate Degree in an allied subject equivalent thereof securing a minimum of 55% marks
    Candidates having an MBA/Master's Degree in an allied subject from the University of Delhi or equivalent would be required to write the CAT exam for admission to the PhD programme. Such applicants should have a minimum experience of two years post their MBA/Master's Degree on the date of writing the admission test.
    Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree of a duration of four years or more, viz. B.Tech. or MBBS who have obtained a minimum of 70% and 60% marks or equivalent grades respectively, and also have obtained any national level fellowships, are also eligible to apply for the PhD programme.
    Permanent teachers of any recognized University/College other than the University of Delhi, employees of a Research Institute in India, and candidates sponsored by their employers will be considered for admission to the PhD programme only if they obtain study leave for two years to fulfil the residency requirements of the PhD programme of the University of Delhi.
