CAT 2023 Result is released on the official website- iimcat.ac.in. By entering your user ID and password, Candidates can check their CAT 2023 result. The CAT 2023 result includes the overall score and percentile, as well as the sectional scores and percentiles for VARC, DILR, and Quant. Scorecards for CAT 2023 are available for download until December 31, 2023.
According to the CAT 2023 results released on December 21, 2023, 55 candidates scored 99.98 and above. CAT 2023 has produced 11 perfect scores of 100 percentiles this year.

IMI Delhi started its 2023 summer internship placement drive. Till now, the highest salary package of INR 2.40 Lakhs per month was received. The 2023 summer internship placement drive is concluded. IMI Delhi offers AICTE approved 10-Year old Fellow Program in Management (PhD) with 100% Tuition & Learning Resource Fee Waiver. The maximum program duration is 5 Years.The registration for admission to PhD at IMI Delhi is going on now. The last date to apply for the doctoral Program is June 12, 2023.
IMI Delhi selection criteria will be based on a valid score in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ GRE tests. In Case, candidates do not have a valid national level entrance exam scores, they need to appear for the IMI Research Aptitude Test conducted by IMI. After considering the entrance test scores, academic performance, and work experience, the candidates will be called for a personal interview based on which PhD admission offer is made to the selected students.

IMI Delhi PhD Eligibility Criteria
An applicant should have Masters Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.OR
A Bachelor s degree in engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average.
Final Year students can also apply for the programme provided the should provided necessary documents in support of the completion of their academic course within the prescribed period of time.
A bachelor s degree plus any professional qualification such as CA, ICWA, CS, and CFA with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks are also eligible to apply for the Program.
Students who have completed any part time academic course are eligible under the condition that they should have minimum 5 years of relevant full time work experience.
IMI Delhi PhD Selection Process
IMI Delhi follows a 3 step process for the final admission shortlist in the PhD Programme which are mentioned below:
Step I: IMI Research Aptitude Test
The applicant seeking admission to the IMI Delhi PhD Programme needs to appear in a Research Aptitude Test conducted by the institute itself. However, the applicants do not require to take IMI Research Aptitude Test if they have appeared in any of the CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ XAT/ NET-JRF tests in the last 5 years with a valid score.
Step II: Research Interest Assessment Interview
The candidates with a valid score of the entrance exams receive their confirmation to appear for Assessment interview conducted by IMI Delhi. Read more:

Based on the Entrance Exam score, PI Performance, academic profile and research interest of the candidates, IMI prepares the final selection list for admission shortlist. On the basis of the final admission shortlist after the assessment PI Round, the selected candidates are given final admission offer.

Candidates applying for DPM Programme offered by IMI New Delhi are required to take IMI Reasearch aptitude test or CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ XAT/ NET JRF prior to submission of the application. Only those candidates having scored qualifying marks in the entrance test are eligible to apply. The application process for IMI PhD Programme in detail is as follows:

IMI Delhi PhD Programme Fee Waiver
1st year & 2nd year INR 31,000 per month plus inr 8,370 HRA per month is provided to the participants of IMI Delhi PhD Programme.
From 3rd year to 5th year The institute offers NR 35,000 per month plus inr 9,450 HRA per month to the PhD research scholars.
As a whole, IMI provides INR 1,20,000 as a Cumulative Grant to PhD students throughout 5 Years.
Also, research grants for presenting papers in national & international conference is also provided to the research scholars.
The scholar who publishes in superior quality Peer Reviewed Journals will get an additional conference support grant of INR 2,00,000/- for every such Peer Reviewed Journal publication
IMI PhD Program Structure
First year of course work: The IMI PhD research scholar has to successfully complete two types of courses, as mentioned below:
1. PGDM core management domain courses: The reseach scholar will pursue certain number of PGDM management domain courses over three trimesters in his/ her first year of the program.
2. PhD specific courses: The PhD scholar will pursue certain PhD specific courses in his/her first year of the program.
Evaluations & promotions: In order to get promoted in 2nd year, an average of 60% is needed for passing both the PGDM core management domain courses and the PhD specific courses. Apart from this, the participants need to score 60% in all the area specific course package defined for the specialized area in which the scholar wants to pursue his/her thesis work.
Exemption & conditions: IMI PhD participants are exempted from PGDM core management domain courses under the following conditions:
The waiver may be granted to scholars who have completed their 2-year Full-time PGDM/ MBA program from any B-schools under NIRF Ranking of Top 50 Schools in the Management Category and score a CGPA of 6/10 or equivalent..
The waiver may be granted to candidates with minimum 5 years of management Domain Relevant work experience.
Second year of course work: The 2nd year of coursework is spread over one year and fulfilled in three trimesters. In the second year, the participants only pursues PhD specific courses which includes a mix of core compulsory; area compulsory and area/ allied elective courses.
Evaluations & promotions:, an average of 60% is required for passing the PhD specific courses for completion of the 2nd-year course work. Additionally, minimum 60% is required in all the area specific course package defined for the area of specialization in which the scholar to pursue his/her thesis work.
Comprehensive examination: On successful completion of the mandatory courses all PhD scholars would need to successfully clear a both written and oral comprehensive examination..
Thesis Preparation and Submission:
Research proposal formulation and defense: After the successful completion of comprehensive examination, the candidate needs to form a Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC) for guidance towards the final thesis. Under the guidance of TAC, the student would be required to develop a research proposal and defend it in an open forum comprising the IMI, New Delhi faculty and other doctoral students.
Thesis submission and defense: Thereafter, on completion of the proposed research as well as the mandatory publication requirements of the thesis submission, the candidate would inform the Dean Research, Accreditation & Regular Affairs of the same. Check: IMI Delhi Placements
