The Department of Management was started under the Sri Sairam Engineering College in the year 1998 to cater to the growing need for management graduates across the country. The college is good only for studies, but not for the personal life.
Placements: You will get placed, but the majority of the branded companies such as Coca-Cola, ITC, HDFC, Amaron but only in marketing. There are no major companies for finance or operations. If you wish for marketing stream, then it is the best place to learn, but if you wish to finance and operations or HR, then they prefer some other college which would suit you and help your career move ahead. The ultimate goal of this college is making you placed in the placements, and these people will do at any cost.
Infrastructure: The college had good infrastructure with good food, A/C classrooms, and industrial visit with adequate exposure to corporates. You don't prefer for a hostel. There are no mobile phones and beard allowed on the campus and hostel. There is formal attire on the campus with shoes and trimmed hair. You will face issues on the campus for disobeying it. You are not supposed to bring motorcycle and car to the campus or hostel. Only college bus is allowed. The faculty are good in terms of knowledge and m...

The institute has a very strict environment. I recommend Sri Sairam Institute of Management Studies for engineering students. The quality of education is good. Placement cell is available on campus and MBA students get hardly any assistance in getting placements.
