    For NRI/ PIO/ OCI candidates, they have two options. In option 1 candidates are required to apply for SRMJEE and can avail domestic fee. In option 2, candidates can avail 50% fee waiver with SAT or with a score of 70% above in HSC grades. There is a tuition fee waiver of 50% on annual tuition fee for the candidates from Africa, Asia and SAARC. It is applicable both for UG & PG programmes except few courses.

    Yes it is the same. SRM IST was formerly known as SRM University. SRM Institute of Science and Technology is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It offers admissions to courses in four different levels - Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral levels.

    Answer:
    For admission in SRM University Chennai to B.Tech programs, you need to take part in the SRMJEEE. Although there is no mention of minimum marks, your rank will decide how much preference you get. For different campuses, however, JEE Mains score is also taken into consideration. For B.Arch admissions in SRM IST, NATA/ IIT JEE Mains is considered.

    A. FMS Delhi registration 2023 usually begins in January every year. As of now, the applications for FMS Delhi MBA 2023-25 batch are yet to be released. The final selection is based on CAT scores, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI).     A. The fee for MBA programmes at FMS Delhi is as low as INR 1.92 lakh (General category). The reason for the FMS Delhi fees being so low is that it is a University of Delhi department and has a highly subsidised fee structure from the University Grants Commission (UGC). Students belonging to the PwD category shall be exempted from the payment of all fees except for the fee of admission and issuing of the identity card. Also, the semester fee for other categories such as SC, ST or OBC is subject to revision and is notified to the students before the beginning of the academic session.

    A. No, Faculty of Management Studies Delhi only accepts Common Admission Test (CAT) scores for admission to its MBA course. Applicants, who have not taken CAT 2023, will not be considered for admission to FMS Delhi MBA programme. Apart from a valid score in CAT, the college also accepts several parameters such as Class 10 and 12 marks, Discussion on Statement of Purpose, Extempore, Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI).     Q. I have low marks in Class 12. Can I get admission in FMS Delhi?
    A. Yes, the probability of getting admission to FMS Delhi becomes high when all the rounds of the selection process are cleared with a high percentage. Apart from a valid score in CAT, the college also accepts Class 10 and 12 marks, Discussion on Statement of Purpose (SoP), Extempore, Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI).     Q. Does FMS Delhi accept the GMAT score during admissions?
    A. No, FMS Delhi only considers CAT score for Indian students during admissions. It doesn't accept GMAT, XAT, SNAP or any other entrance exams for admission. To be eligible for FMS Delhi MBA admission 2023, candidates must have passed Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% for the unreserved category. For other categories including SC/ ST/ OBC Non-Creamy/ EWS/ PWD/ CW, candidates must have passed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 45% as per University Rules or an equivalent CGPA.
    Q. What is the salary offered after passing out from FMS Delhi?
    A. This year, FMS Delhi final placement 2023 witnessed the highest salary offer of INR 58 LPA and an average salary offer of INR 32.40 LPA. Out of 269 students, 257 were placed and 12 students opted out/ took a placement holiday during FMS Delhi placements 2023. FMS Delhi has recorded 100% placements for its summer placements drive for the 2023-24 batch.     Faculty of Management Studies University of Delhi (FMS Delhi or The Red Building of Dreams[2]) is a leading business school located in New Delhi, India. It was established in 1954[3] under the umbrella of the University of Delhi and is often cited as one of the best business schools in India.[4][5] The institute was started at the Delhi School of Economics premises under Dean A. Dasgupta of the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE).
    The department of commerce of the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) now, the Delhi Technological University (DTU), was abolished and the Faculty of Management Studies was established.
    The first set of professors were trained at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The institute has since then expanded on the number of management courses available.

    FMS offers a full-time MBA, an executive MBA, an executive MBA in health care administration and doctoral programmes.[6] In addition to all these programs, FMS also regularly conducts Management Development Programmes.
    Admissions[edit]
    The admission to the course is done on the basis of score in Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). FMS earlier had its own entrance exam which was discontinued starting session 2012 14.[7] For the Doctoral program, the maximum number of Seats is 20. The candidates are required to appear in the entrance test conducted every year in November December. However, candidates falling under some categories are exempted from appearing in this entrance test.[8] The MBA Executive program has an intake of 159 students, whereas MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) programme has an intake of 39 students.[citation needed] Recently the admission process has been modified for full-time students wherein CAT weightage is 60%, while remaining is kept for past academic records, group discussions, extempore and personal interviews.

    FMS is the only business school which conducts the Management fest (Fiesta) and Cultural & Sports fest (Elysium) separately. For the sports fest, FMS being a part of University of Delhi, has access to the sports facilities of other colleges of Delhi University like Hindu College, University of Delhi, Delhi School of Economics and Shri Ram College of Commerce.
    As a Full Time MBA student at FMS, one gets an opportunity to join the Management Science Association (MSA), a completely student run body, which coordinates all these activities. The various societies that form part of MSA at FMS are:

    Eligibility for Doctoral Programme
    A candidate must have obtained a Master's/M.Phil. degree from the University of Delhi, or any other recognized University, or a Post-graduate Degree in an allied subject equivalent thereof securing a minimum of 55% marks
    Candidates having an MBA/Master's Degree in an allied subject from the University of Delhi or equivalent would be required to write the CAT exam for admission to the PhD programme.     Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree of a duration of four years or more, viz. B.Tech. or MBBS who have obtained a minimum of 70% and 60% marks or equivalent grades respectively, and also have obtained any national level fellowships, are also eligible to apply for the PhD programme.

    Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a multi-campus public research university in Mumbai, India.     TISS (Tata Institute of social sciences) - India's first premier institute for social work was established in the year 1936, as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. It was renamed to its current name in 1944. It was recognised as a Deemed University in 1964[12] by the University Grants Commission of India. TISS started out as a small institute offering a post-graduate diploma in Social Work, but has since expanded continuously in terms of educational programmes and infrastructure . The first director of the institute was Clifford Manshardt, who aimed to establish a post-graduate social work school of national stature that would engage in a continuous study of Indian social issues and create meaningful interventions.

    Over the years, the institute has, among other thrusts, made a significant contribution to policy, planning, action strategies and human resource development. TISS has earned recognition as an institution of repute from different Ministries of the Government of India and various State Governments, as well as international agencies such as the United Nations, and the non-government sector, both national and international.[citation needed]

    Tata Institute of Social SCiences
    Academic collaborations[edit]
    The Tata Institute of Social Sciences has a history of collaboration with institutions in India. The institute also has academic and research collaborations with other institutes and universities including University of Chicago,[13] London School of Economics,[14] Massachusetts Institute of Technology,[15] Sciences Po,[16] and 12 universities under the Erasmus Mundus program.[17]
    London School of Economics and Political Science research collaboration, was launched at LSE in June 2007.[18] The programme is undertaken in two streams, namely, Social Sciences and Health.[19] The research themes developed in Social Sciences have been in various Centres and Departments at LSE together with TISS such as Business Model Innovation at the Base of the Pyramid, Civil Society and Global Governance, Colonialism and Welfare: Social Policy and the British Imperial Legacy, Democracy and Development, Governance and the Governed, Population and Development, Social Protection, Economic Growth and Social Change, and Urban Planning & Development.
    Campuses and schools
    Campuses[edit]
    There are four campuses of TISS, located in Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad and Guwahati.
    Mumbai[edit]
    TISS was established in 1936 as Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work in Mumbai.[20] It was renamed to its current name Tata Institute of Social Sciences in 1944. TISS Mumbai is the main campus of the TISS. In the year 1964, it was declared Deemed to be a university under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act (UGC), 1956. TISS Mumbai provides various M.A., M.Phil & Ph.D programs. Over the years, TISS Mumbai is well known for its contribution through research in social work, social sciences, human resources management & health systems.
    In 2014, TISS introduced the Secular Ethics for Higher Education credit course in Mumbai. The inauguration was attended by the Dalai Lama, who was reported to have stated that, "Since women have been shown to be more sensitive to others suffering, their leadership may be more effective. His Holiness suggested it's time for men to withdraw and for women to step forward."[21]
    Tuljapur[edit]
    TISS Tuljapur in Osmanabad district of Maharashtra was set up with support from the Government of Maharashtra in 1986. The campus houses the School of Rural Development with several centres. It is a 100-acre campus located in the outskirts of Tuljapur. The campus has commenced offering the Five Year Integrated Masters programme since 2012 which was discontinued since 2023. It has a computer centre, library, gymnasium, girls and boys hostels, guest house, faculty and staff quarters.
    The initial focus of the institute on rural development projects and field action has widened to include academic activities with grass root level involvement both by faculty and students in the last 7 years.
    TISS Tuljapur offers bachelor's in social sciences and social work and master's level courses in Social Work Rural Development, Development Policy, Planning & Practices, Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Livelihoods, Natural Resources Management And Governance. It also offers a year long post graduate diploma course in water and sanitation(WASH)
    Hyderabad[edit]
    TISS Hyderabad came into being with the approval of Academic Council and Governing Board of TISS. The Registrations under Societies Registrations Act and Public Trust Act of the TISS Mumbai are valid for TISS Hyderabad as well. TISS Mumbai provides oversight to matters of admission, instruction, evaluation of TISS Hyderabad and confers TISS degrees. Currently, it operates from two campuses: one in Alimineti Madhava Reddy Andhra Pradesh Academy of Rural Development (AMR-APARD) in Rajendranagar, and the other in Roda Mistry School of Social Work in Gachibowli.
    At the invitation of the Government of Telangana, TISS is in the process of setting up a 100 acres campus in Kothur Mandal, Mahabubnagar district.[22][23]
    Guwahati[edit]
    TISS Guwahati has been set up at the behest of the government of Assam and the Ministry of Department of North East Region, Government of India. TISS Guwahati has been contributing to the development sector in the North East through a well-conceived Diploma Programme in Community Organisation and Development Practice since June 2009. Currently, TISS Guwahati is operating out of an interim campus in the heart of the city in Guwahati.
    TISS Guwahati commenced offering the Five Year Integrated Masters programme from 2012 until 2017 along with two years master's degree programme in Social Work and Ecology, Environment and Sustainable Development. Now the integrated degree has been changed into 3 year bachelor's course. Several new academic programmes are being offered beyond the existing programmes from the academic year 2014 15.
    The campus space is equipped with a cyber library, conference hall, and classrooms with provisions for video conferencing. Student hostels separately for men and women are available. These are managed and maintained by TISS. A full-fledged campus is being established on 15 acres of land located within the Assam Engineering College campus.
    Governance]
    The institute has a governing board nominated by the Government of India, Government of Maharashta, the University of Mumbai and the University Grants Commission along with representatives from the institute faculty. S. Ramadorai, vice chairman, TCS and Advisor to the Prime Minister of India, is the current honorary chairperson of TISS. The chairperson of the governing board has functions similar to that of the chancellor of a conventional university. The academic council decides matters of academic nature and comprises faculty drawn from the institute's 4 campuses and as well as 6 external experts.[24]
    Director[edit]
    The director of the institute acts as both the academic and administrative head. This position is similar to that of the vice-chancellor of any university. From February 2023, Shalini Bharat serves as director.[25]
