The college is good only for studies, but not for the personal life.
Placements: You will get placed, but the majority of the branded companies such as Coca-Cola, ITC, HDFC, Amaron but only in marketing. There are no major companies for finance or operations. If you wish for marketing stream, then it is the best place to learn, but if you wish to finance and operations or HR, then they prefer some other college which would suit you and help your career move ahead. The ultimate goal of this college is making you placed in the placements, and these people will do at any cost.
Infrastructure: The college had good infrastructure with good food, A/C classrooms, and industrial visit with adequate exposure to corporates. You don't prefer for a hostel. There are no mobile phones and beard allowed on the campus and hostel. There is formal attire on the campus with shoes and trimmed hair. You will face issues on the campus for disobeying it. I am satisfied with placement scenario, infrastructure and support that it provides to its students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well experienced, and most of them are holding PhD degrees. It makes students industry-ready with a lot of experienced teaching faculty members. VIT PUNE ADMISSION PROCESS
Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) is an Autonomous Institute of engineering in Pune, India. Established in 1983, it is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University. The college has attained academic autonomy from the academic year 2008-09.
It is the first private college in Maharashtra to do so. Academic autonomy has helped the college to introduce cross-departmental and industry-oriented subjects in the curriculum.
The college is the only college in Pune to provide Honora and Minors course in addition to the normal undergraduate course.
The college has about 2800 students, 225 faculty members, 67 laboratories, 1 central library, and 150 administrative and supportive staff.
Spread over an area of 7 acres (28,000 m2), the academic area consists of four major buildings.
The campus has a canteen, a Nescafe coffee outlet, a fruit-juice (and breakfast) centre and a bakery that remains open during the college hours, and a fully air-conditioned auditorium with ceiling fans the student s hostel is off-campus
The hostel is state of the art and is equipped with a mess facility for students. It is located about 3.5 km from the academic area.
VIT PUNE ADMISSION MODE:
One needs to take the MHT-CET exam (also called MH-CET exam) or JEE Main exam.
Admissions are done on the basis of rank in MHT-CET through MHT CET Counselling.
For All India seats, admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE Main through MHT-CET Counselling.
Scores in GATE/ MHT-CET exam is mandatory to be eligible for admission in M.Tech program.
Candidates seeking admission in MCA must score good marks in the entrance exam MAH-MCA-CET.
Shortlisted candidates are intimated for counselling based on their merit in the entrance examination.
