Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, known as MICA is an autonomous and non-profit institute for post-graduation. MICA was founded in the year 1991 and it is the only residential institute in the Asia-Pacific region, dedicated to creating leadership in Strategic Marketing and Communication. The institute is approved by the AICTE. MICA Ahmedabad offers three residential and seven programmes in online mode at the PG level. PGDM, FPM and PGCP in Crafting Creative Communication programmes are residential while online programmes include seven different specialisations under Post Graduation Certificate Programme (PGCP).
Additionally, the institute also has designed various Leadership & Management Development Programmes known as LMDPs, for which it has worked with the top of the league multinationals, Indian corporate houses, public sector enterprises, etc.
MICA Ahmedabad has been maintaining a 100 per cent placement record since its inception. During MICA placements 2023, a total of 179 students opted for placements and all of them received suitable job offers. Also, MICA offers scholarships, which are awarded based on a student's overall academic performance, as well as family income. Q. Is getting into MICA tough?
A. Getting into MICA is all about aptitude and inclination. The level of quantitative ability, verbal ability and logical reasoning in MICAT is relatively easier than CAT/XAT/GMAT. Of the three, verbal is generally the most difficult.
Q. Does MICA accept MAT scores?
A. Candidates having valid scores in CAT, XAT, GMAT only can register and apply to MICA. Earlier MICA used to accept other scores also like MAT, CMAT, and ATMA, however from admission session 2016 onwards, MICA accepts the scores of one of the three exams mentioned above.
Q. Does MICA have sectional cut off?
A. MICA Ahmedabad CAT Cut off is entirely based on the overall percentile score of CAT. The XAT cut off or GMAT exam score cut off also follows a similar pattern. Therefore, MICA does not have any sectional cut off.
Q. Does MICA accept CMAT scores?
A. Apart from MICAT and SNAP, MICA accepts CMAT scores as well. However, you need to fulfil the eligibility criteria of a minimum of 45% in graduation for reserved category candidates and 50% for General category candidates.

Q. Does MICA consider CAT score?
A. A percentile above 85% for both CAT and XAT is considered a good one for admission in MICA. It's however, mandatory to pass the psychometric test without which one fails to get calls despite a very good score. With just a day to go for the MICAT 2023 exam, candidates must complete the revision and gather things to carry to the exam centre.
MICAT 2023 exam is set to be conducted tomorrow in more than 45 cities. MICAT is a university-level MBA entrance exam for admission to Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad. Candidates will come across three exam sections; the first two sections include a Psychometric Test and a Descriptive Test. The third section will have four subsections similar to other competitive exams.
Candidates must not forget to carry the admit card and photo ID proof to the exam centre. Officials at the exam centre will cross-check the details in the MICAT admit card with the photo ID proof.

Complete the final revision.
Do not stay awake until late. Follow an adequate sleep cycle before the exam day.
Gather all documents and other things to carry to the exam centre at one place.
Take two printouts of the MICAT 2023 admit card and affix your passport size photo on both.
Check the distance from your residence to the location of your MICAT exam centre. Make arrangements to reach on time beforehand.
Go through the MICAT admit card to know the important instructions to be followed on exam day.
Make an exam strategy beforehand to complete the test on time.
Since there is no sectional time limit in the third section, attempt the questions from the easiest topics first. Leave the difficult ones for the last.
Attempt all the questions as there is no negative marking in MICAT.
Be mindful of the time, keep track of the on screen clock and keep locking your answers on the test software.
Candidates can also appear for the second attempt of MICAT on January 28. The application window for MICAT II is available and will close on January 16.

Candidates aspiring for admission to MICA s PGP courses can apply for MICAT (II) 2023 until January 16. MICA closed the registration window for the first exam phase on November 21. Candidates who missed the MICAT (I) application deadline can apply for MICAT (II). The second phase exam will be conducted on January 28.

How to Fill MICAT (II) Application Form 2023?
The application process for MICAT I and MICAT II are identical. Candidates who also registered for the first phase exam will have to face slightly lesser steps while submitting MICAT (II) application form. Whereas, candidates who are applying for the first time need to go through all the steps mentioned below:
1st Step: Visit the official website of MICA, mica.ac.in.
2nd Step: Click on the tab reading Apply Now
3rd Step: Enter some basic details to complete the one-time registration.
4th Step: Fill personal details, qualification details, and entrance exam details.
5th Step: Upload documents, including scanned copies of photograph and signature.
6th Step: Review all details filled in the previous steps followed by declaring that all information is correct.
7th Step: Pay MICAT 2023 application fee and submit the form.

Candidates need to pay INR 2,100 as the MICAT application cum examination fee. Those registered in the first exam phase must pay the application fee again.
