Endothelial cells (EC) are monolayered cells that form the inner lining of the blood vessels. The measure of Endothelial Cells ranges between 0.1 to 10 m thickness, 10 to 30 m width and 30 to 50 m in length. Despite the small size of the cells, it covers a vast range of areas. These cells are metabolically active and are key regulators of the exchanges between blood vessels and the surrounding environment. In the body, these cells are responsible for creating life-support systems by migrating to all regions of the body. ECs are key regulators in cellular processes, including hematosis, vasomotion, inflammation, and angiogenesis.
