Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) will accept CAT 2022 and GMAT score followed by Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and Personal Interview in order to select appropriate candidates for its flagship two-year full-time PGDM batch 2022
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor s degree/equivalent qualification examination in the year 2022 can also apply. However, such candidates have to submit a certificate from the Principal / Registrar of their University/institution certifying that the candidate has obtained 50% marks or equivalent, based on latest available grades/marks.
Applicants should note that the mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for short listing by LBSIM. Candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a phone number throughout the selection process.
Candidates will be required to furnish their GMAT scores while applying and provide an attested copy of the GMAT score sheet to the Admission Office for verification at the time of personal interview. GMAT scores without the above document will not be accepted and the application may be summarily rejected.
Selection Process
Candidates are short-listed on the basis of CAT/ GMAT scores, prior academic performance, work experience, and other information disclosed in the Application form. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Extempore, Written Analysis Test and Personal Interview, which will be held during February and March 2022.
The weightage for final selection will be 60% for CAT/GMAT score and 40% for Group Discussion, Extempore and Personal Interview, past academic performance, written ability test and work experience. Result of the selected candidates shall also be displayed on the Institute s Notice Board and also uploaded on the Institute s website: www.lbsim.ac.in
How to Apply?
Besides registering for CAT 2022/ GMAT, candidates are also required to register with LBSIM, Delhi through a separate Application Form which will be available along with Information Brochure.
Candidates can apply Online also at www.forms.lbsim.ac.in. For online application submission, candidates need to pay 1,250/- either through Credit/Debit card, Net Banking.
Interview Centres
Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) would be conducted at the following centres: Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Ahmedabad, Indore and Thiruvananthapuram.
GD/PI centre can be changed by the Institute at its discretion. Candidate is required to select one centre at the time of applying for registration with LBSIM.
Note: The above fees is inclusive of tuition fees, library, books, reading material, and refundable Security Deposit ( 5,000/-) for the programme. However, Management Grid Contribution of 30,000/- (For Full Course) and Alumni Fee 7,000/- (Life Membership) are required to be paid, in addition to the above fees, at the time of admission. Examination Fee of 5,000/- to be paid in four installments.

Q. Can I get call from LBSIM with 84-85 percentiles in CAT?
The CAT cutoff for PGDM programs in LBSIM range beyond the 85+ percentile score. With 84, the chances are too low to get a call.
