MS Orthopaedics stands for Masters of surgery in MS Orthopaedics It is one of the vital part of the medical studies from ancient times. In the past 3 4 decades in India it has grownup tremendously. High tech Orthopaedics result delivery has improved the teaching learning process a lot.

Getting a MS Orthopaedics is even tougher as it is among one of the topmost preferred branch of every person writing the examination.
It is a course of three years, where the trainee has to work as a junior resident, writes a thesis/dissertation and have to appear for a final examination at the end of three years where the examination comprises of theory, clinical, viva voce. The aspirants who becomes successful in the examination is awarded with degree of Masters of Surgery in MS Orthopaedics or MS Orthopaedics.
One more degree of Orthopaedics is awarded by the National Board of Examination which runs Diplomate of National Board it is called DNB Orthopaedics. It is done in the private and government hospitals which have got stipulated no. of seats from NBE for teaching these courses.
