Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) earlier known as SET Law is an entrance exam conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University to offer admissions into the five-year integrated law courses i.e. BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.). Symbiosis International School (SIU) administered SLAT will be conducted as per the SLAT exam pattern, prescribed by the university. The exam pattern of SLAT gives an insight into the test scheme and pattern, i.e, mode, type, duration etc. Candidates going to appear in SLAT must be aware of SALT exam pattern as it will help them in putting their preparation in the right direction. SLAT will be conducted in online CBT mode, and 150 minutes will be given to attempt 150 questions. Highlights of Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)

The Symbiosis University will conduct SLAT 2023 on May 2023. SLAT 2023 will be conducted online mode across 85 different cities of India. The SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) or earlier it is called as Symbiosis Law Entrance Test (SET Law) will be administered by the university to offer admissions into the UG law programmes on offer in the university.

The SLAT 2023 is the only entrance exam held to take admissions into the BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes offered in three law schools of Symbiosis University including SLS Pune, SLS Noida and SLS Hyderabad. The official notification of SLAT 2023 has been announced on January 2023, followed by SLAT application form 2023. Admissions to as many as 840 seats are offered through SLAT 2023.

SLAT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have cleared class 12th qualifying examination from any national or state board of education
The minimum marks required in the qualifying examination are 45%, however, if candidates belong to SC/ ST category then the minimum qualifying marks are 40%.
Moreover, candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply however; they should submit the proof of qualification at the time of final admissions.
For BA LLB (Hons.) Candidates should have studied Arts or Social Science subjects
For BBA LLB (Hons.) Candidates should have studied Commerce/ Mathematics/ Science subjects
