BMS College of Engineering, located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, is one of the oldest and most prestigious engineering colleges in the country. Established in 1946, the college offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines of engineering and technology.

BMSCE admission is offered through government quota or private quota or management quota.

The application process for UG courses begins in the month of February. The application process is offline and the candidates have to take a printout of the application form and submit it before the final date.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for undergraduate engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech) at BMS College of Engineering may include the following:
Academic Qualifications: Candidates should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their qualifying examination.

Optional Subjects: Along with Physics and Mathematics, candidates should have studied Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics as one of the optional subjects.

Minimum Marks: The minimum aggregate marks required in the qualifying examination may vary each year. Typically, it ranges from 45% to 50% for general category candidates. There may be relaxation in marks for reserved category candidates.

Entrance Exams: Candidates are generally required to appear for relevant entrance exams such as the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), or any other equivalent entrance exams recognized by the college.

Counselling and Seat Allotment: Based on the performance in the entrance exam, candidates are called for counselling and seat allotment. During the counselling process, candidates can select their preferred course and branch based on their merit rank and availability of seats.

The aspirants seeking BMS College of Engineering admission under management quota must have attended anyone of the entrance exams.
