Department of Computer Science and Engineering has MoUs for Research, Consultancy and training with multinational companies and government agencies such as CISCO, Citrix, Nihon, Gnostice, Sapient, Infosys Technologies and Karnataka Forest department. Department has industry sponsored labs from CISCO, IBM and Nvidia GPU research centre. About the Department of CSE:
Department of Computer Science & Engineering has a total of 47 teaching faculty members with various specializations in computer science, out of which 18 are Ph.D. holders and 29 are pursuing Ph.D. The Department has state-of-the-art infrastructure and computing equipment supported by high speed Ethernet and wireless networks. The intake for undergraduate program is 180 students and 18 each for M.Tech (CSE) and M.Tech (CNE). CSE department library aims to support the students and faculty by providing most relevant and required books. The library is well stocked with more than 1119 titles and 1720 volumes of books exclusive to CSE department UG and PG courses. In addition the library is stocked with UG and PG student project reports, selected research papers in CDs in specialized areas of Data mining, Internet of Things, Image Processing, Computer Networking and High Performance Computing. The library has floor area 42 Sq. mts with seating capacity of 15 persons.
