So MSRIT has a great legacy of more than 58 Years in the heart of the city Bangalore being one of the oldest engineering colleges in India.
MSRIT is situated in Mathikere region of Bangalore, very near to Yeshwantpur Railway Station and World Trade Centre.

Currently, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) has 2 Boys hostels and separate hostels for girls inside the college premises.
The first Boys hostel is named Freshers Block, wherein only Fresher 1st Year Students are allowed to stay only for their 1st year of college studies. college has zero tolerance for any kind of ragging and has very strict rule against ragging
The Second hostel named Aryabhatta Block is a huge hotel wherein Accommodations are provided to students from 2nd year onwards. It has Single, and Double Sharing Accommodation Types.
There is even another hostel named NRI Block, which is available for NRI students of the college who come from different countries to study in MSRIT.
All 3 Boys Hostels have a common mess in Aryabhatta Block which serves delicious 3-time meals and evening tea and snacks as well.
