Eligible criteria for fellowship in Clinical Microbiology

The Clinical Microbiology Fellowship Training Program in BV University is designed to train and mentor postgraduate Ph.D.'s in clinical microbiology. The Medical Microbiology Fellowship provides advanced training to prepare pathologists and infectious disease specialists as future directors of clinical microbiology laboratories. The medical fellowship in Clinical Microbiology program is accredited in all major microbial identification and susceptibility testing areas. The fellow will be responsible for designing and completing a clinical or basic science research project applying microbiologic skills under the direction of a microbiology division faculty member. Successful fellows may be certified by the American Board for pathology examination in medical microbiology.
