About BMS College of Engineering Bangalore
In the history of Karnataka, the name of late Sri Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah (BMS) occupies a prominent place in the field of philanthropy. The Maharaja of Mysore honored him with the title of Raja Karya Prasaktha in 1946.
He Stared the B.M.S College of Engineering in the same year. He had foreseen the urgent need for high-quality technical education in India even before its independence. The ideals for which Sri B.M. Sreenivasaiah stood to continue to inspire the inheritors of his legacy.
After the demise of Sri. B. M. Sreenivasaiah , his dynamic and enterprising son Sri. B. S. Narayan took over the reigns of the college. The institution grew from strength to strength under his able guidance.
He was also instrumental in initiating international collaborative programmers such as training foreign students under International Co-operation Division (ICD) and cross-cultural programs with Melton Foundation.
Mission
The mission of BMSCE Library is to seek, create, communicate and preserve knowledge and understanding and carryout the mission in a unified community known as College. The library, in support of the educational and research mission of the college, is the local repository and the principal gateway to current information and the scholarly record. The Placement Process
Step -1
The placement office shall communicate, network and build relations with potential recruiters. Students seeking placement shall register for the campus placements.
Step 2
The placement office confirms his/her registration, participates in pre-placement visits to the companies and conducts grooming and training of the students for better placements.
Step 3
Send invitation to potential recruiters to visit the Institute and procure relevant details regarding the final placements. Respond to recruiters intention to participate.

The placement team communicates the dates for campus visits for each recruiter by considering factors like student preference, job profile, etc.
