Workshops on Mooting Skills

Another prominent feature of the moot court society is conducting Workshops on mooting skills on regular basis. During the workshops students, especially the fresher are engaged into the activity of problem solving, mock trials and mooting competitions. The workshops are designed to suit the understanding levels of the target audience and are held throughout the year to ensure consistency and gradual grooming. Each workshop put together involves separate modules dealing with definite facets of the skills, such as Effective use of Language , Fundamentals of Public Speaking , Fact Management, data structuring and Framing contentions and tools to refute arguments. Student s acknowledge the workshops to be very effective in giving practical training and these workshops and participate in these with over whelming response.

Intra college moot court competition

Intra college moot court competition for FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD YEAR BA.LL.B 5 (YEAR) AND BB.A LL.B AND LL.B 3 YEAR was held on 23rd Sep 2017.The moot problem was based on Law of Torts. 84 teams participated in the competition which was conducted in Three Rounds Preliminary, Semi-Final and Final Round.The Final round was judged by Dr.Mukund Sarda, Dr.U.S. Bendale and Adv. Rajendra Anbhule.

The internship are provided by the college but for that the intern must be in 3rd year if the internships are for reputed law firms whereas for the juniors the research policy centres such as Ipleaders, PRS legislation does hire interns as per CV merits. Usually the stipend is not paid to the juniors due to lack of knowledge but some law firms do pay it depending upon the performance put in by the intern. About the placements the companies do come to college for recruitment such as Tata Aig, Mindcrest, Sharp&Tannon, Bajaj Allianz. They do hire capable students as employees.
