MBA Overview

It is a two-year full-time programme spread over six trimesters leading to the degree in Master of Business Administration. It is the flagship programme of the School of Business Management, NMIMS Deemed-to-be University, Mumbai with a legacy of over 41 years. It has enjoyed a high credibility in the corporate world over the years. Many of our alumni occupy significant leadership positions in the corporate hierarchy while some have been successful entrepreneurs.

Tens of thousands of students across the world vie for a seat in the full-time MBA, a flagship program of the School of Business Management, Mumbai. Admissions are conducted through a rigorous entrance procedure consisting of a written examination, group discussion and personal interview. It has an acceptance rate of less than 1% every year.

PLACEMENT REPORT

The University has released the 2024 placement report for various Schools. The highest package offered to MBA Core and MBA HR in 2024 was INR 67.70 LPA and INR 25.02 LPA, respectively. The NMIMS Mumbai average package 2024 for MBA Core and MBA HR stood at INR 25.13 LPA and INR 18.64 LPA, respectively. Further, the highest and average package offered to MBA Tech students was INR 26.49 LPA and INR 10.70 LPA, respectively.

A total of 122 companies participated in the MBA Tech placement sessions 2024. The list of recruiters included Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, CRISIL, etc.

Admission Process in 2025

SBM NMIMS admissions are entrance-based. The selection for MBA (flagship course) is subject to a valid score in NMAT by GMAC. Admission to the courses is a two-step process consisting of an entrance exam followed by a Case Discussion and Personal Interview (CD-PI) session, conducted by the school itself.

NMAT 2025 registration window is open for admission to MBA/PGDM courses for the academic session 2025-27. SBM NMIMS under SKVM s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) offers full-time, part-time and various other specialised Management courses, including PhD.
