Eligibility

For admission in B.Tech, Candidates are further required to have an optional subject inclusive of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or any other vocational subject, and he/she should score a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and any of the optional subjects taken together.

Entrance exams

Entrance exam is done through MU OET + Counselling process

MU Online Entrance Test is a university-level exam conducted by MU annually for admitting candidates to various UG and PG degree programs.
The official schedule for MU OET 2023 will be released shortly.
The exam window is generally of 2 months. Candidates have to book a slot to appear for the examination.
Basic eligibility to apply is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate. The application fee is INR 600 while the fee for the entrance test is INR 1400.
MU Application Form and Entrance Test fees, wherever applicable, once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances. The examination in online (computer-based) mode.

Admit card or e-hall ticket will be available for download at manipal.edu only. The document will not be sent via postal mode or fax or any other modes. Steps to download the document are given below:
Step 1: Visit the official portal of MU OET/ MET i.e. www.manipalotbs.com OR manipal.edu
Step 2: Enter the issued MU OET Application Number and Password emailed on the register ID.
Step 3: Click on Login button.
Step 4: Check and Download the hall ticket
Step 5: Save it for future correspondence.
