This institute was founded in the year 1988 by the People s Education Society in Bangalore silicon valley of India. It was earlier attached to VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) and now it comes under its own University. PESU grants admission to 40% of its seats in undergraduate courses based on candidates performance in Karnataka CET and 60% of seats based on PESSAT (the university s own entrance test) ranks. This year (2022) they are also considering JEE Main for B.Tech Admission into PES University for those who couldn t appear in KCET and PESSAT.
