Robotics Classes this Summer

A 3 weeks robotics workshop is planned for kids 5 years to 7 years (Group I), and for kids 8 years and above (Group II). This is a hands- on workshop where participants will be taught to build and operate simple robots during the course of the workshop, which they can take home after the completion. The duration of the workshop is 3 sessions and each session will be of 2 hours each.
Group I : Age group 5 to 7 yrs.
Session I : iMatch
This is a workshop on the basics of an electric circuit. The participants will be taught to build electric circuits based on logical thinking as their first steps towards Robotics.
Session II : Air Car - The aeronautical vehicle
This is a workshop on the basics of a motor and a propeller. The participants will be taught the concept of a propeller through a model in which a high-speed fan generates wind and pushes it forward.
Session III : Touch Me Not
This is a workshop on the basics of an electric circuit. The participants will be taught about touch sensors and buzzers through an application by which kids can enjoy and easily understand the working of Touch sensors.
Group II : Age group 8 yrs and above
Session I : Vibrot
This is a workshop on the basics of an electric circuit, switches, mechanical parts, motors and a motor s functions. The participants will be taught to generate vibrations using a motor and about its usage in Robotics.
Session II & III : Light Sensing Bot
This is a workshop on the basics of electronics, Robotic components and sensors used in Robotics. The participants will be taught about one of the sensors and its role in functioning of the Robot.
