A brief about SNAP
The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a computer-based entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to postgraduate management programs (MBA/PGDM) across its 16 constituent institutes located in various cities across India.

Who should take SNAP?
Candidates interested in pursuing an MBA/PGDM program from any of the 16 Symbiosis institutes.
Graduates from any discipline (Engineering, Science, Commerce, Humanities etc.) with at least 50% marks in their bachelor's degree.
Exam Pattern:
Computer-based test: SNAP is conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) for 60 minutes.
Sections: The test has three sections: General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Data Analysis & Interpretation.
Marking scheme: Each section is for 20 marks, with a total of 60 marks. There is negative marking for each wrong answer (25% of the marks allotted to the question).

Selection Process:
Shortlisting based on SNAP score: Candidates are shortlisted for the next round (Group Exercise and Personal Interview) based on their SNAP score. The cut-off score varies for each program and institute.
Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates are invited for GE and PI rounds. These rounds assess your teamwork, communication skills, leadership potential, problem-solving ability, and overall suitability for the program.
Final Merit List and Selection: Based on your performance in SNAP, GE, and PI, each institute prepares a final merit list for each program. Admission is offered to candidates who rank high enough on the list and meet the program's specific requirements.
