Sinhgad College of Engineering (SCOE) is private unaided institution that was established in the year 1996. The institute offers eight undergraduate engineering programmes. Six engineering departments are offering post-graduate programs. The department of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering are recognized Ph.D. Research Centre by University of Pune. It has a total under-graduate and post-graduate enrollment of 1200 and 338 students respectively. There are 126 students registered for Ph.D. with this research center. All the courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to University of Pune.

SCOE Pune Admission Process

In engineering, Sinhgad College of Engineering (SCOE) offers UG, PG and Ph.D programmes. Applicants need to apply for MH-CET or JEE Main in order to be admitted to B.E, while GATE is required for admission to M.E. SCOE's comprehensive admission process is given.

For either of the JEE Main or MHT CET aspirants looking forward to admission to B.Tech or BE courses at the Sinhgad College of Engineering (SCOE) will have to appear because the admissions are dependent on the results of these examinations.

Placement Experience

Campus placement was very good at that time 1200 placements were done including all Sinhgad institutes. Many top companies are there like Atlas Copco, TCS, Infosys, cognizant, LnT etc. In my branch, the highest package is 7 lakh per year and the average is 1.7 lakh per year.
