Computer Science Engineering Admission 2025: General Eligibility Criteria

Students are expected to have completed the course from a recognised institute in any education board in India. Given below are the basic eligibility criteria that need to be satisfied by candidates who wish to pursue CSE courses after 12th:

Computer Engineering Courses (CSE Courses) Computer Engineering Course (CSE) Eligibility
Diploma in CSE Students must have passed Class 10 with at least 50 percent marks in Science and Mathematics subjects and must clear the diploma entrance exam.
BTech in Computer Science Engineering Students must have passed the Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. Besides this, they should also have secured a minimum of 50 to 60 percent in the above subjects combined.
MTech in CSE Students must have completed a BTech in Computer Science Engineering or a relevant specialization with at least 55 percent marks.
PhD in CSE Students must have completed MTech in Computer Science Engineering and clear Research Eligibility Test in order to pursue a PhD course.
