Infirmaries in India have been facing an important scarcity of oxygen/ICU beds and respirators ever since the second wave of coronavirus contagions hit the republic with tearing fierceness. Government data shows that as an alternative to firming up infirmaries after the first wave, the nation saw a radical fall in health infrastructure. The press has not been lying about a shortage of ICU Beds as the second wave saw people in almost every city struggling to find an ICU Bed as there was a sharp shortage in available beds. A large number of people died waiting for their chance to get admitted to an ICU. We were not fully equipped for the second wave of the epidemic and infirmaries had to turn people away for the lack of ventilators/ICU beds that are supplied by the ICU Bed Dealers.
