RV College of engineering is a private and self-financing institution, established in the year 1963 by rsst with the intake capacity of 242 students. The college is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by the AICTE. The present capacity of the college is 2510 students.

The campus is situated in the heart of Bangalore city which is known as the Electronic City of the Silicon Valley of India. The campus is located at mysore road in Bangalore.
