Nalanda Open University is an Open University that gives it all sorts of flexibility and freedom in operation. NOU is presently recognized by MHRD, UGC, DEC (Distance Education Council).The University is presently the second biggest Open University in India, it was established in 1987 under the Bihar Government s ordinance, which located at Biscomaun Bhawan, Patna, Bihar, India.
The University offers 55 different courses in various streams, NOU offers UG, PG, certificate, PG Diploma and Intermediate Courses to Students such as B.A{Hons.}, B.sc{Hons.},BBA, B.com, B.Ed., M.com, M.C.A, M.A, M.sc, in different steams like Arts, Science, law, Medical, Management, Commerce etc.
