Purnea University is a public state university.it was established in 2018. The university located in Pratap Nagar, Purnea, Bihar, India. The UGC of India has approved the university. The ambition of this university is to provide higher education in Purnea division. Purnea University has 13 constituent colleges (Govt. College), 33 affiliated colleges (private colleges) including B.Ed., Engineering, Management and medical Institutions spread Across Purnea University.
The courses and programs available at the institute are B.A, B.Sc., B.com, and B.Tech, courses like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, computer Science Engineering, M.A, and MBA among other courses.
