National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya (An Institute of National Importance) invites applications in prescribed forms from Indian nationals for appointment of following Non-Teaching posts on on permanent basis.

Educational Qualifications:

Technical Assistant -> First Class Diploma of 3 years duration from a recognized University /Institute in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science) plus 2 years relevant experience. (OR) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science) from a recognized University /Institute.

Secretary -> Bachelor's degree from a recognized University /Institute. Proficiency in use of Office Automation Software and Stenography.

Technician (Civil) -> 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic /Institute (OR) Class 12 from a recognized Board and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade (OR)
Class 10 with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 year's duration in appropriate trade.

Laboratory Assistant -> B.Sc. with Honours Degree in relevant field (Physics/ Chemistry) from a recognized University/Institute. At least one year experience of working in a graduate or higher level laboratory of relevant field.

MTS -> ITI Certificate in Fitter / Electrician / Plumber Trade. Class 10 passed from a recognized Board. Desirable - 2 Years relevant experience.

Application Fee (A Non-Refundable): 200/- only ( 100/- only for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the form of Demand Draft only drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, payable at Shillong.
