Himachal Pradesh Police Recruitment 2016 Constables

Office of the Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh Police Headquarters, Shimla - 171002 invites applications on the prescribed format for recruitment of Constable in Himachal Pradesh (HP) Police Department. The closing date for receipt of applications is 15th March 2016. The recruitment will be held at all the district Headquarters in H.P.

Constables,1500 (Male 1200, Female 300), 5910-20200 +Grade Pay 1900/- (initial start 7800) and after 8 years of regular service Pay Band will be l0300-34800 + 3200 G.P.

Age Limit: (as on 01/02/0216)

18 to 23 Years for General
18 to 25 Years for SC / ST, OBC, Gorkhas
20 to 28 Years for Home Guards
18 to 25 Years for Distinguished Sportsmen

Eligibility:

(1) The Candidate must have valid registration in any of the Employment Exchanges of HP on the date of submission of Application Form.
(2) he/she must be a bonafide Himachali as per record. Such candidates can also apply who are appearing in +2 Examinations.
(3) The candidates must be passed Matric with +2 Examination. Those appearing in +2 examination may also apply. However, he/she will have to provide the +2 examination qualification Certificate at the time of personal interview/personality test.

Selection Process: Physical Standards, Physical Efficiency Test (Qualifying only), Written Examination and Personality Test.

Application Fee: A processing fee of 120/- only shall be charged from each candidate from the General category and 30/- only from each candidate belonging to the categories of the SC/ ST/ OBC/ IRDP in the shape of a Bank draft/ IPO to be drawn in favour of the district Superintendent of Police concerned.

How to Apply: Eligible Interested candidates are required to send their completed applications (Prescribed format) will be submitted on or before 15/03/2016 upto 5.00 P.M. in the office of the district Superintendent of Police concerned in H.P. (including Tribal Districts L&S. Kihnaur and tribal area of district Chamba) of which he/she is resident as per record.
