Teaching Qualification and Experience: As per latest MCI norms and C&R rules of the Institution. Senior Resident should have post graduate qualification. Minimum Qualification MBBS.

Age limit:

Professors - Maximum 50 years for GM, 53 years for OBC and 55 years for SC/ST Associate Professors - Maximum 45 years for GM, 48 years for OBC & 50 years for SC/ST.
Assistant Professors, Senior Resident & Junior Resident / Tutor, LMO&CMO - Maximum 38 years for GM, 40 years for OBC & 43 years for SC/ST.

Application Fee: 500/- Demand Draft (DD) (non refundable) in favor of The Director, Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences, Shimoga.

How to Apply: The desiring candidates may send filled application form and required documents along with D.D. It should be reached through registered post or by hand to the office of CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, SHIMOGA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, SAGAR ROAD, SHIMOGA-577201 by 22/01/2016 for prior verification of the documents.

Walk in Interview -> Desiring candidates should attend the Walk-in - Interview with all the original documents with two recent passport size photographs on 23/01/2016 at 9 AM. The candidates are instructed to register their names before 9 AM on 23/01/2016.
