Book Kailash Pilgrimage Yatra by Helicopter 2015

Kailash by helicopter is ideal for the pilgrims who are short on time or cannot undertake the rough road drive over the Tibetan plateau due to age or other health factors. The Yatri is facilitated - they would fly on fixed wing aircraft to Simikot, District headquarter of Humla from Kathmandu. A night for acclimatization is required before fly to Tibetan border. Next day chopper meets the group at Simikot and ferries the client to Hilsa Nepal - China border. Short walks up to Chinese check post. The land cruisers drive over a week from Lhasa to pick up group from Sher for Kailash Manasarovar Holy sites. As you can see the logistics have to be carefully planned and the tours booked at least 5 weeks in advance minimum.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01:- Arrive to Kathmandu afternoon Darshan of Pashupatinath. Transfer to 4 star Hotel

Day 02:- Morning Brifing and Yatra Prepation. Afternoon 55min flight to Nepalgunj. O/N Hotel

Day 03:- Morning fly 50 min to Simikot (3000m) afternoon visit Shiva Mandir. Rest at Sun Valley Resort. O/N Resort

Day 04:- After breakfast fly to Hilsa by Heli 30min (3700m) and drive 1hr to Purang. Halt at Purang Hotel

Day 05:- Drive 3hrs to Lake Manasarovar (4500m), Start Parikrama of Mansarovar- 105km and Holy Bath, Puja etc. Halt at Manasarovar Guest House. O/N Guesthouse

Day 06:- Drive 2hrs to Yam Dwar via Darchen and Trek 7-8hrs to Diraphuk. O/N Guesthouse

Day 07:- Trek 10-11hrs over Dolma la Pass (5650m) and over night at Zuthulphuk. O/N Guesthouse

Day 08:- Trek 2hrs and Drive to Purang or Hilsa 4hrs. O/N Hotel

Day 09:- Fly to Simikot - Nepalgunj - Kathmandu. Transfer to 4 star Hotel

Day 10:- Drive to Airport and fly back to Home.
