“Learn the OOPs concept, multithreading,Exceptions in Java/J2EE and take care of yourself”
If you really want to learn OOP, you need to think beyond languages and understand that it is a paradigm that helps manage complexity involved in software programs just like how we manage them in this real world. Then learn the basic concepts in OOPs like Abstraction, Encapsulation, Inheritance etc
Each software designer uses different techniques to identify classes. However according to Object Oriented Design Principles, there are five principles that you must follow when design a class,
• SRP - The Single Responsibility Principle -
A class should have one, and only one, reason to change.
• OCP - The Open Closed Principle -
You should be able to extend a classes behavior, without modifying it.
• LSP - The Liskov Substitution Principle-
Derived classes must be substitutable for their base classes.
• DIP - The Dependency Inversion Principle-
Depend on abstractions, not on concretions.
• ISP - The Interface Segregation Principle-
Make fine grained interfaces that are client specific.
