What is face firming (face lifting) and how does it work?
Face firming is the latest technology to tackle face and body areas in need of rejuvenation. Face firming treatment uses tripolar and bipolar radio frequency modalities to heat subcutaneous dermal tissue using a hand piece emitting RF waves. This causes the contraction of the existing collagen fibers, encourages fibroblast migration and promotes new collagen growth that helps to tighten and improve the outer architecture of the skin.
You’ll see the lifting effect and feel how your skin becomes tighter, smoother, and more elastic. There is no down time (apart from the treatment time itself) and minimal discomfort. It is a walk-in walk-out procedure which takes from 20 to 70 minutes. What happens during this treatment?
Before the treatment starts the treatment area is coated in a conductive gel to make the treatment more comfortable and to increase the hand pieces surface contact with the skin. There is little discomfort during or after Face Lift treatment. There is a definite feeling of warmth in the skin at the area being treated. The hand piece used in treatment has it's own cooling module to help keep the treatment comfortable.

How many treatments are required and how long are they?
Nami’s Beauty Lounge recommend a course of anywhere between 6 to 10 treatments (depending on the areas treated and your skins reaction to the treatment) for the most beneficial results. We also recommend a maintenance treatment approximately every 6 months after your initial treatment course to maintain the results. You will notice a subtle difference in your skin during your first treatment; however the results get better and better with ever treatment. The treatment is an accumulative result, the more treatments you do the better your results will be. It is normally around the 4th treatment for the results to be more drastic. Once we have started to stimulate your collagen it will continue to produce in between each treatment, once we get your skin to a level that both you and Nami’s Beauty Lounge are happy with it. It is important to do a maintenance treatment every 6 months to top up your collagen production. Results have been reported to last up to 2 years, but this also depends on how well the client is looking after their own skin. Nami’s Beauty Lounge will recommend range of homecare for you to use to maintain your skin in between treatments.

What is Micro-derma abrasion?

Micro-derma abrasion is the system of pushing specially refined crystals at high velocity onto the surface of the skin to exfoliate dead skin cells and promote the generation of new skin cells, thereby creating a skin surface which is youthful and glowing.
