NCESS Recruitment 2015 Project Scientists

ESSO - National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) invites Online applications for contract positions from eligible candidates of Indian Origin for filling up the post of Project Scientist C and Project Scientist B. The posts are purely on temporary basis for the XII Five Year Plan (2012-2017) and co-terminus with the Project and likely to be extended as per the extension of Project in next Plan by Competent Authority. The closing date for submission of online applications is 7th November 2015.

Education Qualifications

Project Scientist-C -> Masters degree (Post Graduate) in any branch of Earth Sciences or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university in qualifying degree. Three years experience in research and development in the geophysical data analyses particularly in the EM and MT data supported by scientific publications. Doctorate degree in the respective area will count as three years experience.

Project Scientist-B (07 Posts) -> Masters degree in any branch of Earth Sciences or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university in qualifying degree.

Project Scientist-B (01 Post) -> Masters degree in physics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university in qualifying degree.
