This seminar is unlike anything you have ever seen before, taught from the persepctive of how the tools fit the problems rather than how the problems fit the tools!
Data is everywhere whether in unstructured or structured form. Yet stand-alone data makes no sense unless measured, managed or optimised. To gain valuable insights into a given set of data, the data has to lend itself to analysis using a clearly defined methodology, strategy and business goals. Data Science, which includes Analytics (quantitative analysis of data), programming tolls used for Data Analytics Python, R language, SAS, Big Data Hadoop, Big Data management / reporting and Data Structure Algorithms, is the scientific process of transforming data into insight for making better decisions.
