Workshop on “Mobile and Web Application Development”

School of Management Sciences, Varanasi conducted a two-day workshop on “Mobile and Web Application Development” on 2nd and 3rd March, 2013. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Shyam Singh, Managing Director-Lichens Technologies, New Delhi and Mr. Raman Kumar Jha, Expert Soft Skills-Lichens Technologies, New Delhi.

Mr. Shyam Singh delivered his lecture on Web based application development and its implementation at client side. He focused his lecture on DOT NET Framework & Technologies. He presented a framework for developing web applications and describes the application that students may construct during class. He also introduced the concept of data abstraction and illustrated with specific implementations recommended by Microsoft and incorporates into the class applications. He also conducted a test based on technical and analytical skill for the students.

Mr. Raman Kumar Jha, an expert of soft skills delivered his lecture and presented before MCA students about the Interview tips which has now become the need of the hour for the students to appear in an interview (whether off-campus or in-campus) as per current industry requirements. He focused on the need of attitude required to face the current challenges of the industries and also discussed on certain important points which contributes a lot to a candidate for preparing interviews in MNCs.
