State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Andhra Pradesh (AP Police) invites Online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Police Constables and Warders for filling up total 4548 Vacancies in AP Police 2016-17. SLPRB, AP Online registration close on 14th September 2016.

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2016):

For Police Constable Posts -> 18 to 30 Years (i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1998) for AP State Candidates and also working in Andhra Pradesh Police Department Candidates; 18 to 22 Years (i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1998) for all other candidates.

For Warders Posts -> 18 to 30 Years i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1998.

Educational Qualifications: Intermediate (Matric with 12th) or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2016, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examinations in both the 1st year and 2nd year.

Physical Standards:

For the post code nos. 21 and 22 (Men) ->

a) Height: Must not be less than 167.6 cms (160 cms for aboriginal tribes).
b) Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 cms (80 cms for aboriginal tribes) round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

For the post code nos. 21 and 22 (Women) -?

a) Height: Must not be less than 152.5 cms (150 cms for aboriginal tribes)
b) Weight: Must not be less than 40 kgs (38 kgs for aboriginal tribes)

For the post code no. 53 (Men) ->

a) Height: Must not be less than 168 cms (164 cms for aboriginal tribes).
b) Chest: Must not be less than 87 cms (83 cms for aboriginal tribes) round the chest on full
inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

For the Post Code No. 54: (Women) ->

a) Height: Must not be less than 153 cms.
b) Weight: Must not be less than 45.5 kgs.

Selection Process: Preliminary Written Test and Physical Measurement Test. The Preliminary Written Test will be held on 16/10/2016(SUNDAY) from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM.(03 hours).

Preliminary Written Test: The Candidates shall be required to appear for the Preliminary Written Test in one paper (three hours duration) for 200 marks (200 Questions). Questions in written examination will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages. Candidates have to answer the questions on an OMR answer sheet using Blue / Black Ball Point pen only.

Application and Exam Fee: A prescribed fee 300/- for OCs/BCs and 150/- for SCs/STs. The fee can be made through Mee Seva (e-Seva) / AP Online/ TS Online centres.
