Company Secretary is a 3 stages course that trains students to handle the legal aspects of a firm including tax returns and record keeping. The Company Secretary is directly involved in a company s strategy, decision-making, and ensuring all the activities comply with legal, ethical and regulatory requirements.

The student who would like to join the Course after 10+2 pass or equivalent has to undergo three stages of Company Secretaries Course that is:

stage 1 - CSEET or CS Foundation Programme
stage 2 - Company Secretary Executive Programme
stage 3 - CS Professional Programme.

Now I will explain the 3 Stages of Company Secretary course indepth:

stage 1 - CSEET or CS Foundation Programme
This is the entry level or 1st level of company secretary course,

students who are appearing for Intermediate 2nd year and also students whoever completed intermediate are eligible to do this CSEET .

This exam will be conducted 4 times in a year,

There are 4 subjects are in this, each subject is for 50 marks that means total 200 marks exam.

Student should score 100 marks out of total 200 marks to clear this CSEET.

This exam is completely of OMR based exams and NO negative marks.

Results will be announced in 10 days after completion of the exam.

Now I will explain Stage 2 of Company Secretary course:

Executive Programme this is 2nd stage of Company Secretary course.

Eligibility of this 2nd stage is CSEET pass students are eligible to do this CS executive programme.

Also Degree Final year studying (or) Degree completed students are directly eligible to do this 2nd stage of CS course,

This exam will be conducted 2 times in a year, that is June and December.

There are total 8 subjects in this 2nd stage,

These 8 subjects are devided in to 2 groups, so each group with 4 subjects, so groups 1 with 4
subjects and group 2 with 4 subjects.

Each subject is for 100 marks that means total 400 marks exam each group.

Student should score 200 marks out of total 400 marks to clear.

After successful completion of both groups in Executive programme .student is eligible to go for Final stage of C S course.
