AIM : Provide training to entry level people to take up a challenging role in API / chemical industry and meet the current Industry requirements with right standards.
INTRODUCTION: Pharmaceutical industry in India is fast growing and Industries are striving to maintain all world class standards (regulatory) to sustain the business. Industry is in need of qualified and properly trained personnel to continue the business in Pharma Sector.
We all know that India has become a favorable nation in the world for investments in Pharma and whole world is looking at India as qualified human resource capital and is considered as hot outsourcing by MNCs. Outsourcing includes bulk actives and intermediates manufacturing, fine chemicals, analytical, intellectual property, discovery and development of new molecules.
There is a great demand for qualified and trained man power in India in general to do all above activities to the satisfaction of industry. Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam are become major hubs for Pharma industry development. We are blessed with excellent Universities to provide high standards of academic knowledge. The degree and training awarded by the academic institutions is adequate to get a job in industry but not sufficient to perform the job to the satisfaction of industrial requirements. The industry expectations are different from that of institutional training as their objectives are different each and every pharma industry. In this process of a systematic training, both industry and employees are losing their valuable time and productivity.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Graduates/Post Graduates in Organic Chemistry / General Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry /Physical Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry.
• Diploma /Degree in chemical Engineering.
• Employees from Industry, both recent recruits and experienced professionals, are also eligible for this course.
Training Duration:
• Duration is normally for a period of 30 days covering about basics of industry in 80 hours (Training time 3-4 hrs per day).

Training Topics:
• What is Pharma Industry Requirement of Bulk drug/API manufacturing industry?
• General material flow and Responsibilities of all departments.
• Good documentation practices(BPR & General records equipment log etc)
• Quality department responsibilities, Regulatory requirements and Drug Master file (DMF)
• Guidelines –ICH and others as desired by client.
• General Equipments ,operation, maintenance and Qualification(IQ,OQ&PQ)
• General Production activities like Transportation of chemical, material charging, Reaction , pH adjustment, layer separation, filter clothes, P&ID, PFD, Nitrogen Inertization, vaccum, boiling point reflux, distillation, particle size, calibration.
• Brief summary about specification and general tests and instruments in QC
• Validation, Deviation, Change control system, Handling of Incidents & out of Specification.
• Basic safety(PPE, Fire extinguishers ,MSDS, work permits, waste disposal, labeling, Dos and don’ts Dos etc)
• Learning attitude and good behavioral skills
• Communication and Presentation skills on their activities.
• Others shall be designed as per requirement.
