Academic Membership
i) Associate Membership (AMIIE)
ii) Technician / Diploma Membership (DMIIE/DIPIIE/TMIIE)

i) Associate Membership : Associate membership is professional engineering degree certificate awarded by Indian Institution of Engineers by Govt. of India. Associate member degree certificate is just equivalent to a Bachelor degree certificate (B. Tech/B.E) in Engineering & Technology awarded by recognized Indian Universities. There are Section A& B examinations. In Section A total 9 papers will have to be passed after completing or passing, member will be promoted to Section B. Numbers of papers will be 8. After completing the total number of papers (Sec-A + Sec-B) 27 papers member will be entitled for AMIIE for getting membership certificate. Member has to undergo for 6 months practical training at AICTE approved College. After submitting practical training & Experience certificate member will be eligible for final certificate of AMIIE.

Eligibility Requirement:- 3 years polytechnic diploma from State Board / University / Institution in the field of engineering.

ii) Technician/ Diploma Membership (DMIIE/DIPIIE/TMIIE): IIE Institution conduct Bi-annual examination known as Technician / Diploma Membership examination Part-I & Part II

Part-I: Must have passed Secondary Examination (10th pass) with Math + Science or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board. Candidate has attained the age of 16 years on the date of application. Examination will consist of 9 subjects. They can appear in maximum 6 Subjects in one attempt.

Part-II: Candidate who have passed 10+2 examination (Science stream) or I.T.I (Industrial Training Institute ) eligible for Part-II.
Part II examination will consist of 18 subjects. The candidate can appear in maximum of Six (6) subjects with back paper in one attempt.

Note: - I.T.I candidate after clearing the eligibility test online after that we will be eligible for Part II examination.
