SET and PIWAT were cake walk for most of the students who got selected.
I think you should target a score above 105/150 in SET. The cut-off to get shortlisted for PIWAT for the year 2016 was somewhere near 105.
SET covers concepts till 10th standard and the quantative section is more logic based rather than rigid formula based. Some brushing up on topics like Interest, percentage, speed work time distance, area etc would cover most of the topics. A very few questions might come from complex topics like permutation and combination.
Coming to PI-WAT
Out of the two WAT is more challenging. There will 2 essays of 15 min each. One will be image based where you will have express your views and interpretation of the image and the other essay will be on general topics. ( We were asked to express views on a image which looked like a wooden flower stand and the other essay was to be written on some quote I don't remember).
The WAT was easy, you can ace without much preparation if you read daily and have a good vocabulary. Read on current affairs and issues. Remember to stick to the time limit, many weren't able to finish and conclude their essays.
The easier part is Personal- Interaction(Different from interview). The objective of the panel would be to test the suitability of the candidates for the college college culture and environment. General questions were asked like interests, hobbies, career aspirations, why SCMS, engagement in cocurricural activities etc. They generally don't ask subject related questions. It's more like a normal chat and doesn't requires any preparation. I suggest rehearsing the above questions, that would be enough for clearing the round.
Merit list is drawn based upon the combined score of SET and PI-WAT, 50% weitage assigned to each.
Broards marks doesn't have any weightage in the selectionprocess, you just need to fullfill the eligibility criteria by scoring above 60% in your boards.
