Responsibilities
Examine and settle pending claims, pointing out underpayments, denials, and other irregularities.
Work with insurance companies and other payers to look into and appeal denied claims.
Keep an eye on ageing reports and rank accounts for further action.
Resolve billing concerns by having excellent communication with patients, insurance companies, and internal personnel.
Keep thorough records and record all collection activities.
