Focus: In a factory setting situated in Chennai, place special emphasis on the fundamental skills of skilled MIG welding, metal fabrication, and rigorous attention to safety and quality standards.
Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

What you ll Do:
Set up and operate MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently, including adjusting wire feed speed, voltage, and gas flow, considering the specific equipment used in our Chennai facility.
Accurately read and interpret complex blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols, ensuring precise execution for projects in Chennai.
Thoroughly inspect welds for quality, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to specifications using various measuring tools and visual inspection techniques, adhering to the quality standards expected in Chennai's industries.
Perform meticulous pre-weld preparation, including cleaning, grinding, beveling, and fitting metal components according to job requirements in Chennai.
Maintain and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment, performing minor repairs and reporting significant issues to maintenance personnel in our Chennai plant.

What you need:
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, respecting the local work culture in Chennai.
Welding certification (e.g., AWS, TWI, or equivalent recognized in India) is highly preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or certification in welding or a related field from a recognized institution in Tamil Nadu is a plus.
Experience with specific welding techniques and procedures commonly used in Chennai's manufacturing sector.
