Location: Chennai
Department: Paint Shop Maintenance
Experience: 5 to 7 years
Qualification: B.E, Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile Engineering
Salary: 40k to 50k

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Specialist to oversee and manage the maintenance activities of our Paint Shop. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, breakdown management, and ensuring the smooth operation of all paint shop equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for paint shop machinery, robots, and equipment

2. Ensure minimum downtime by quick diagnosis and resolution of breakdowns

3. Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements for operational efficiency

4. Maintain records of maintenance activities, spares usage, and breakdown analysis

5. Coordinate with production, quality, and other departments for smooth workflow

6. Lead a team of maintenance technicians and provide technical guidance

7. Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with maintenance protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile Engineering

2. 5+ years of experience in paint shop maintenance (preferably in automotive or manufacturing industry)

3. Strong knowledge of paint shop processes, automation systems, conveyors, and pneumatic equipment

4. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and breakdown analysis

5. Leadership and team-handling skills
