Responsibilities
contacting insurance providers on dental clinics' or dentists' behalf to enquire about unpaid accounts receivable.
Sort the outstanding claims from the ageing bucket in order of priority using the established technique.
Examine and implement corrective measures for the claims company (payers) in order to settle pending claims.
Examine claims in accordance with insurance status and proceed as directed by the client's standard operating procedures.
Examine provider claims that the insurance companies have not yet billed, are processing, are awaiting further information, have been paid, or have been rejected.
Respect applicable laws pertaining to process as well as HIPAA compliance and confidentiality regulations.
Report challenging collection circumstances to management as soon as possible.
meeting the individual's stated goals for output and quality on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
