Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction for all moulding production activities within our Chennai manufacturing facility, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and quality standards.
Champion and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and promote a proactive safety culture within the moulding department, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel in Chennai.
Manage the moulding department's budget effectively, controlling costs related to materials, labor, maintenance, and utilities within the allocated financial framework for our Chennai facility.
Develop and implement training programs for moulding personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring a competent workforce in Chennai.
Prepare and present regular reports on the moulding department's performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives to senior management in Chennai and other relevant locations.

Skills
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing production teams, achieving production targets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong understanding of quality management systems and their application in a moulding environment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership, communication (both written and verbal in English), and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Tamil would be a significant advantage for leading local teams in Chennai.
