For the production quality control job it is expected to get involved in day to day Production & Quality activities, ensuring that products meet production standards and legal requirements:

Inspecting Quality control inspectors inspect products at various stages of production, including raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. They use a variety of tools, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers, to measure products.

Monitoring Quality control inspectors monitor production operations to ensure they meet standards. They also monitor the use of equipment to ensure it's safe.

Adjusting Quality control inspectors recommend adjustments to the production process if needed.

Reporting Quality control inspectors record inspection and testing data, such as weights, temperatures, and quantities inspected. They also complete reports and summarize re-works and wastes.

Training Quality control inspectors may train the production team on quality control measures.

Troubleshooting If quality control issues arise, quality control inspectors may troubleshoot or liaise with other specialists to find a solution.
Complying Quality control inspectors ensure that products comply with all applicable internal policies and legal regulations.

Production & Quality control engineer should have strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to solve complex problems.
They should also have good written and verbal communication skills. Computer knowledge is a must.
